One Pan Chicken and Jalapeno Popper Creamed Corn

Pan seared seasoned chicken served on a jalapeno popper creamed corn with loads of cheese!

ingredients
    For the rooster:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, pounded slim
  • 2 teaspoons taco seasoning
  • For the jalapeno popper creamed corn:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced or diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced/grated or chopped
  • 4 cups corn (contemporary or thawed frozen)
  • 1 cup milk (or product or hen broth)
  • 4 ounces product cheese, warmed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper to flavor
directions
    For the rooster:
  1. Warmth the oil in a pan more than medium-high heat, add the rooster, seasoned with the taco seasoning, and cook until eventually cooked by means of, about 3-5 minutes for each side, in advance of setting aside.
  2. For the jalapeno popper creamed corn:
  3. Melt the butter in the pan above medium warmth, increase the onion and jalapeno and cook dinner till tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Include the garlic and cook until finally aromatic, about a minute.
